Micron V2 Build:

We sell the Micron V2 in kit form, making it possible for you to assemble this incredible little flyer yourself.

Step by step guide...

Check that the blades are inline Always switch the transmitter on before the helicopter
1. First, lay the main components out on a clean, clear surface. 2. First feed the tail motor wires through the rear tunnel in the mainframe. Lightly soldering the ends of the wires together will make it easier to poke them through.
Keep the helicopter level correct it by moving the rudder stick
3. Attach the 4-in-1 controller to the front of the mainframe with double sided tape. Snip the red and black (motor) wires to a length of 20mm each. 4. Expose the ends of the wires, flux and solder them to the motor terminals - red to the left and black to the right.
5. Wrap the aerial wire around the struts. 6. Feed the tail motor wires through the boom.
7. Fit boom to mainframe. 8. Cut the exposed tail motor wire to a length of 30mm.
9. Strip the tips of the wires, apply flux... 10. and solder to the motor terminals.
11. Black to the rear, red to the front (when print is on top). 12. Loosen the main motor screws slightly...
13. Push down on the head... 14. and lift the upper frame.
Connect the battery you'll see the flashing light on the control box
15. Trim the lugs from each side of the servos with snips and a craft knife.. 16. Cut the double sided tape and apply to the underside of the servos.
17. Fix servos to mainframe - left servo (short wire) with top towards rear, right servo (long wire) with top towards front. 18. Re-fit the upper frame.
19. Feed the right servo wire between the motor and board.. 20. Plug servos into the board - right to top, left to bottom.
21. Tighten the main motor screws positioning the pinion onto the main gear - not too tightly. 22. Cut down the servo horns leaving a single hole.
23. Round off the ends. 24. Attach the control link to the servo horn.
25. Attach links to swashplate... 26. leaving horns loose.
27. Snip prongs on the crystal... 28. and bend outwards
29. Fit crystal, ensuring tight fit. Switch your transmitter on and centre the trims. 30. Connect the helicopter's battery. Adjust the setup screw until the red and blue lights flash.
31. Adjust the D/R, Mixer and Gyro. 32. Initially set as indicated by the black lines in the above pic.
33. Push the servos horns on... 34. with the swashplate level.
35. Attach the battery with rubber band. 36. You are now ready to test fly before fitting the canopy.
