By downloading the free software you can achieve the full sim experience within minutes. Note: it will require that your transmitter is switched on while in use. The left stick should now move the heli up/down and turn left/right (ie.
stick
pulled left moves nose left - forward stick moves heli upwards).
The right stick should tilt the heli side to side and back/forward (ie.
forward tilts nose down - pulling stick right tilts heli to right).
(These settings apply to mode 2 transmitter set-ups)

You can reduce battery drain by removing the crystal (X'tal) - just make sure you remember to put it back!
In some cases you may need to close the program and/or unplug and re-plug
the cable after initial setup before the controller will function. If this
does not have the desired effect you may need to reboot your PC.
